The Children's Center's teachers work with you to provide specialized support for your child. Our toddler rooms provide a fun and flexible environment supporting every child's need for a balanced day of stimulating activity, quiet time, small group interaction, learning centers encourage toddlers to find and use the materials, toys and equipment that spark their interest.

Learning Centers:

Each toddler room is designed with special learning centers to help every child grow and learn in his or her own way, through self-motivated, informal play.

  • A Pretend/Dramatic Play Area for role playing and pretending.
  • A Blocks/Manipulatives Area for exploring physical relationships and developing coordination and dexterity
  • Fine Motor Skills Area for enhancing small muscle development

Outdoor fun:

This is a highlight for most young children - especially when the equipment and toys are age appropriate. The toddler play area is in a fenced, secure section of the play yard with constant supervision.
