CCW Enrollment

A waiting list is established by the Director when the programs are filled.  Your child's name will be put on the appropriate list in numerical order.  You'll be notified when an opening occurs and are asked to visit the center and submit the application and registration fee.  The needed forms are given to you at that time.

An appointment is made for you and your child to visit the appropriate classroom and meet the teacher(s) and the other children.  If the teachers and you deem it necessary,  subsequent appointments may be made.

The tuition deposit, the weekly tuition fee, and all forms are due before your child's first day.  Parents are encouraged to stay with their child for a short time on the first morning.  When you and your child are ready, the teacher will assist in the separation.   You are encouraged  "check in" by phone or in person if you'd like at anytime during the day.

More detail information on admissions:

We will admit a child only if provided with a written statement from a physician which indicates that the child has had a complete physical examination within one year prior to admission, or obtains one within one month of admission or obtains a written verification from the child's parent(s) that they are object to such an examination on the grounds that it conflicts with their religious beliefs.  The results of such an examination shall be maintained in the child's record.

This examination will be valid for one year from the date the child was last examined.

For children under the age of six, but not less than two years of age, the CCW will admit a child to the center only if provided with a statement signed by a physician or an employee of a health care agency stating that the child has been screened for lead poisoning, or obtains one within one month of admission or obtains a written note from the child's parent that they object to such an examination on the grounds that it conflicts with their religious beliefs.  For children admitted to care prior to two years of age, the licensee will require verification of the lead screen within one month of the child's second birthday unless the parent objects in writing due to conflicts of their religious beliefs.

The CCW will require at admission, a physician's certificate noting each child has been successfully immunized in accordance with the current Department of Public Health's recommended schedules against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, measles, and such other communicable diseases as may be specified by the Office of Children.  No child will be required to have any such immunization if his parent(s) object thereto, in writing, on the grounds it conflicts with their religious beliefs or if the procedure is contraindicated.
